Does the Colon Cleanse really work?
There are so many products on the market. Does it work? Which particular product, if it worked for you? I’m just worried because there seems to be a lot of scams out there.
Colon cleansing is pure nonsense. A simple anatomy lesson: from one end of your digestive system to the other, the tissue is virtually the same: pink, soft mucous membrane, from your mouth to your rectum. Now, think about this: do you ever have food (or ‘chyme’ as digesting food is actually called) or anything else ‘stuck’ in your mouth or throat and needed to have it ‘washed’ out? Of course not. Nothing sticking in your esophagus either, right? Well, unless you have a serious intestinal disease, nothing is ‘sticking’ inside your intestines or colon, either. It simply can’t happen. Your digestive system is designed by nature to push stuff through from mouth to rectum.
All these products are scams. Has a medical doctor ever told you you have gunk stuffed inside your colon? And, even if such a thing were suspected, they would send you for tests to determine if it were so (which would certainly come out negative.
